Modalities of follow-up

Each mother is followed up closely by a social worker and an educator. They meet regularly with her and assess together her development, her relationship with her children, integration into the life in the home the state of her journey, possible changes, …

If necessary, the social workers organize interviews with external services such as CPAS, lawyers, administrative services, doctors, Youth Judges, SAJ, SPJ, mental health center, mediator …

Meetings with the family (husband or companion, parents, relatives, father, visitation rights, etc.) can be organized according to the wishes of the person sheltered or according to the requirements of each situation. They can take place in the shelter or in external locations such as dedicated meeting spaces.

A meeting of women sheltered in the home is organized once a month and the presence of each mother is compulsory. The idea is to manage  challenges of community living and foster understanding among the women sheltered.
